Not all people can perform yoga. Like taking medications, it is also to be performed with recommendations from a physician and under the supervisions of a professional instructor. This advice is highly recommended to those people who have a history of heart disease and to those who just recently undergone surgery. They are not advised to begin practicing yoga without consulting their physician first because complications regarding their conditions might occur.

When performing yoga, one must not force or violently do the stretching. It can cause your muscles and joints in being too stressed out. For beginners, it is very normal to feel pain during your first sessions. Your body is just beginning to adjust and the more you practice with it, the more flexible you’ll become. Before beginning your yoga session, you must be spiritually and mentally ready. You should also wear loose clothing that will be appropriate with the said activity and ensure a suitable space while doing your stretching and poses.
